Kall me Krazy: Part 1.5

As a note to my last entry, DO NOT move your stitches around when double-knitting. As I found out the hard way, by moving the 1st stitch on each needle to the previous needle, I have created holes at those points and also connected the 2 layers. Holes I can fix, but having the 2 layers connected leaves me with no option but to rip it all back to where the ribbing ended.

  1. :o( you'll literally have to unknit it back. Ripping it out makes it hard to realign the stitches...I've had to do this so many times because of mistakes I've made. You can rearrange the sts on the needles, just have to be sure to keep you outside sock's yarn hanging in the front and the inside sock's yarn hanging on the inside while you do it

  2. I had a needle breakage last week and am putting this project on hold. Have 3 baby projects to make for April so those will have to take priority. Good luck!

  3. Just a bit of info. I have done this but toe up as per instructions in Vogue Knitting Spring/Summer 1987.
